Spyro Reignited Trilogy Gets Patch Update - Adds Subtitles + More!
Spyro Reignited Trilogy released last year in November with positive review, but it wasn't perfect. Subtitles, among other things, was something fans felt was necessary to the game. Now, a few short months later, the game has received an update which fixes a lot of the issues it had on release.
Luckily the patch notes tell us everything new the 1.03 patch has added. Firstly, the game has added subtitles across all three games in unsupported cinematics; including character headers, line splits and colored text for easier reading. The option for subtitles can also be turned off for those who would rather play without. Secondly, an option to turn off motion blur has been added. This was a big issue for players when the game first released, causing some players to feel dizzy and cause headaches when moving the camera, though personally this didn't effect me during my play through. And lastly, as with any update, the patch fixes a number of bugs present on initial release. A full list of what bugs it fixes can be seen in the patch notes.

Whilst no official word has been announced for a Switch version yet, there have been many rumblings about it receiving a port later this year, and was even listed on GameStop's German site with an August release date. It seems it's just a waiting game, and hopefully Switch owners can get their hands on the game sooner rather than later.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is out now on PS4 and xBox One. You can check out our review of the title here.
