Brand New Flowers, Villagers + More Revealed for Animal Crossing: New Horizons!

As previously announced, the latest issue of Nintendo Dream would be out in January 21st and contain some new information for New Horizons. That day has now come and graced us with an assortment of images and information!

Firstly, a bunch of returning villager renders got revealed, and show off the new looks for our favorite animal friends. They really show off the personalities of the villagers with their simplistic clothing choices. Oddly enough, it also looks as if Colton is wearing a cape. From previous screenshots, we saw what looks like Kiki wearing some glasses, so it's very possible villagers will have accessory options than before!

Secondly, and most excitingly, are the new flower species. We'd previously been teased with a few, with "poppies" appearing in the trailers, and another appearing in the official renders a few weeks back. We now know that these are not poppies, but are instead gerberas! The other two flowers are hyacinths and chrysanthemums.

Sadly, there doesn't seem to be much more information in the magazine, but it does not it's possible new plant, fish and bug species will appear. We're sure sooner or later we'll get more details, but for now, it's simply a waiting game...
