Here's How To Claim Your Shiny Zeraora in Pokemon Sword & Shield!

As previously announced, in amongst all the Pokemon reveals as of late, if 1,000,000 trainers in Pokemon Sword and Shield were able to take down Zeraora, players would be able to receive a Shiny Zeraora via Mystery Gift! That threshold has been reaches, and players have until July 6th to claim their Shiny Zeraora and Armorite Ore, with details on how to redeem them below.

In order to claim your prizes, you'll need to have the Pokemon HOME mobile and Switch app set up, and obviously own a copy of Pokemon Sword or Shield. Once you've done that, you'll need to move a Pokemon between Sword and Shield and Pokemon HOME on the Nintendo Switch. Then you can open the app up on your smart phone, and go to the Gift Box under the Mystery Gift menu to claim your Shiny Zeraora. Your Pokemon will be available in your Pokemon HOME box which you can transfer to your Nintendo Switch, and you'll receive a code to download the Armorite Ore via the Mystery Gift menu in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Again, you'll only have until July 6th (or 10am July 7th AEDST) to claim your Zeraora, but the code for the Armorite Ore can be redeemed at any time once it's been generated. It's worth noting that you don't need to have purchased the Pokemon DLC in order to redeem these freebies, nor do you need the premium version of HOME. Here's hoping Nintendo has some more Pokemon rewards up their sleeve!
