Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Toy Day Event Guide
To start the event, head on over to the Resident Services, where you'll be able to find Jingle roaming around. He'll let you know of his very important job in helping Santa deliver presents, though he's forget the wrapping paper. He'll then give you the DIY recipe for Festive Wrapping Paper, and request you craft 3 and bring them to him. In order to craft the paper, you'll need one of each colored ornament, which can be found by shaking the Cedar Trees covered in lights.
Giving Jingle the wrapping paper will reward you with a set of Toy Day Stockings*, and he'll then ask you to help him deliver the presents for Toy Day. He'll give you a Magic Bag which holds all the gifts for the residents on your Island. You'll then be tasked with speaking to each of your residents and handing them a gift. Three of your villagers will give you a gift in return, which is a seasonal toy from Nook's Cranny in a color not available on your Island. If you're having trouble keeping track of who you've given gifts to, you can interact with the bag in the Inventory, and it'll tell you how many villagers remain.
*If you hang the Stocking in your home, and interact with them the next day, you'll find Jingle's Photo hidden inside!

Once you've handed over all the gifts, go back and report to Jingle, and he'll reward you, this time with a Gift Pile DIY and Toy Day Sleigh item. Note you will only receive both rewards if you deliver gifts to all your villagers. If you're playing early/late and have villagers sleeping, you'll only receive the Gift Pile DIY.
With Jingle no longer needing help, you may think that's the end of the event, but there's still a little more to go, the villager gift exchange! The gift exchange is a fun little extra, and doesn't grant you any unique rewards, but rather allows you to further gain the seasonal toy items in different color variations!
In order the start with the gift exchange, you'll need to decide what item you'll gift your villager (it can be anything!) and then craft some more Festive Wrapping Paper. Interacting with the paper in your inventory will allow you to wrap the gift, which you can then give to a villager of your choice!
Again, exchanging gifts won't grant you any special rewards, but it is a good way to obtain the other color variations if you were unable to trade with friends online to collect them! And that's a wrap on the Toy Day Event! Be sure to let us know if we've missed anything! Perhaps the most obvious function stuffed animals serve is to ease distress and anxiety. Stuffed toys can help them cope with these emotions because they represent familiarity and reassurance. This is also important for gradually building your baby's ability to self-soothe without the help of mom or dad. wallystoys.co.uk
