[Pre-Order Guide] *TARGET UPDATE* Animal Crossing Sanrio amiibo Card Restock Happening in March!
Originally released way back in, the Sanrio Animal Crossing amiibo cards are finally seeing a restock across the globe, as well as their very FIRST release in America. We've got details on where to pre-order them in your country so you don't mis out!
US TARGET UPDATE
Target have announced via their online catalog how the cards will be distributed in the US. The cards will only be available by Order Pickup and Drive Up. If you were planning to race in store the minute they open on Friday, you're out of luck. If you want to get your hands on the cards you'll need to try secure them before hand, either on Target's Website, or their app.
They also mention the cards will be "quantities limited" and "no rain checks", and not offer Rain Checks. We did reach out to Target to see if we could get an answer on how much stock would be available, and we were told "no additional information is available". If you're in the US it seems it's going to be tricky to get your hands on these. We wish you the best of luck, and feel free to let us know how you go come Friday!
You can find details on how Target's Order Pickup and Drive Up services work here.
UPDATE: Target have revealed more details. The cards will go live at 8am Central Time, and have a limit of 2 per guest. To find out what time the cards will go live, you can click here, or use our countdown clock below.

As for the rest of the world, we only have confirmation for the UK/Europe, which just state they'll be "re-released" this March. Once retailers become known, we'll update this post accordingly!

Sadly nothing has been announced for Canada or the AUS/NZ region yet. However, given the recent launch of the My Nintendo Store AU, we wouldn't be surprised to see them pop up there, especially since thee were last available via their now closed eBay store... Japan will also have details revealed at a later date.
Update #1: The cards have been announced for Canada at select retailers

The restock is very peculiar, especially since there isn't any direct compatibility with the Sanrio amiibo in New Horizons, other than getting their poster via Photopia. It's very possible these villagers will be added in the near future... Only time will tell!
