Animal Crossing LEGO Sets Are Officially on the Way!

Two months ago we reported on the possibility of LEGO releasing some Animal Crossing sets in the near future. To the grace of Animal Crossing fans, these reports ended up being true, with a teaser reveal announced by LEGO earlier today! Full details below.

The news was revealed on LEGO social medias earlier today, with a short teaser video, showing off some of the Animal Crossing LEGO Minifigures - Rosie, Bunnie, Marshal, Kapp'n, Fauna, Julian, Isabelle, and Tom Nook. The video shows these characters off in a field of brick built trees and flowers. The trees are also representative of how they appear in the Animal Crossing games, down to the detail of having three fruit bearings! The trailer then ends with a brick built balloon present floating up into the sky.

Further details haven't been announced, though there is a page up on the LEGO website. However, if you're interested in what the sets will include, you can view our original report here. The most important thing to take note from this report is these sets are supposed to release on March 1st (an official release date has yet to be announced).

If you're interested in buying the sets, you're best to keep your eyes peeled for preorders, since these will likely sell out fast! With these sets not scheduled to release until March 1st, a 5 month pre-launch reveal is very early for a LEGO set, and must speak volumes on how they expect these sets to sell!
