Nintendo have announced a new smartphone app called Nintendo Music. This free app is available to Nintendo Switch Online members and features music from popular games like Animal CrossingThe Legend of ZeldaDonkey KongMetroidSplatoonMarioPokémon, and more! Full details below.

With Nintendo Music, users can stream or download songs directly to their smart devices and listen offline. The app offers various search options by game title, track name, playlist, or even screenshots, making it easy to find favorites. For those who want uninterrupted background music, songs can be looped or extended to 15, 30, or 60 minutes. Spoilers aren’t an issue either—soundtracks tied to specific in-game moments can be filtered out.

Users can save favorite tracks, create and share custom playlists, or browse curated playlists by Nintendo, with recommendations based on Nintendo Switch Play Activity. New music will be regularly added to keep the library fresh. There are also a huge amount of customisation options, such as hiding sound tracks of games you've yet to finish to avoid spoilers!

Nintendo Music is available now at no extra cost for Nintendo Switch Online and Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members in Australia and New Zealand. With a membership, players also gain access to online play, classic game libraries, exclusive game vouchers, and other special benefits.
