Three New Lego Animal Crossing Sets Coming This Summer!

The Lego Animal Crossing collaboration looks to be staying strong, with three waves already released, with a fourth on the horizon in the summer! Full details below.

The sets were first reported over on reddit at the end of last year, which were simply three set numbers, sets 77056, 77057, and 77057 - which coincide with the Animal Crossing set numbers.

Now, we've got more details revealed, which include the piece count, and cost! We don't have any further details right now, but given past trends, more details should trickle out over the coming weeks.

Set 77058 is the smallest of the three, sitting at 149 pieces and $19.99USD, set 77056 lies in the middle with piece count, but higher with price, with 543 pieces at $79.99, and set 77056 is the largest, with 814 pieces at $89.99.

Comparing these details with previous sets, this is what we are able to speculate what we may be getting with this summer wave:

- 77058/149pcs/$19.99 is in line with Bunnie's Outdoor Activities (77047), which has 164 pieces at the $19.99 price tag, which seem to indicate this may be a smaller play set focused more on the environment, rather than iconic Animal Crossing stalwarts.

- 77056/543pcs/$79.99 is similar to Nook's Cranny & Rosie's House (77050) and K.K.'s Concert at the Plaza (77052), which are 535/550 pieces, and $74.99/$79.99, respectively, which indicates this should, at the very least, contain a building. With not many options left, this may be a building that appeared in a previous game (like the police station), or a villager house. We don't expect it to be The Museum, but wait! Before your heart sinks, check out our speculation on the final set...

- 77057/814pcs/$89.99 is the biggest set so far, doesn't have anything to compare to at the moment - K.K's Concert at the Plaza (77052) being the largest at present. Though for $10 extra, you get 271 more pieces, which is a lot for the Animal Crossing lego price per piece count (PPP). Because of this, it's very possible set 77057 may be The Museum! Please not this is just our own speculation based on the Lego PPP count, and not indicative of insider information at all.

We'll bring more details as they come! As always, if you haven't already, be sure to follow us over on Twitter and Tumblr.
